Paris (AFP) – Holders Paris Saint-Germain and last year’s runners-up Marseille were drawn Monday against Ligue 1 rivals in the French Cup round of 32, taking on Bastia and Toulouse respectively.

PSG and Marseille are the most titled clubs in the competition with ten titles each with the Parisians beating their rivals — who last won in 1989 — 4-2 to claim a second-straight crown last season.

Since then both have changed coaches — Unai Emery replacing Laurent Blanc in Paris and Franck Passi in for Rudi Garcia at Marseille who have also changed owner, with the club bought by American Frank McCourt in October.

There will be two other top flight clashes with Ligue 1 leaders Nice travelling to 2002 winners Lorient, with Lyon at Montpellier, who whipped PSG 3-0 last Saturday.

In-form Monaco, second behind Nice in Ligue 1 and ahead of PSG, meet Ligue 2 side Ajaccio.

The round of 32 matches will take place on January 7 and 8, 2017.
