London (AFP) – Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew expects unsettled Democratic Republic of Congo winger Yannick Bolasie to complete his proposed move to Everton in the next few days.

Bolasie is keen to quit Palace after Everton made their interest known and the two Premier League clubs have been haggling over the fee.

Palace are believed to want £25 million (29 million euros, $32.3 million) for the 27-year-old and Pardew suggested the transfer was imminent after Bolasie came on as a second-half substitute in Saturday’s 1-0 Premier League defeat against West Bromwich Albion.

Asked about the Bolasie situation, Pardew told reporters: “It’s not quite done, that deal. The chances are that it will get done. But we’ll have to wait and see.

“As much as I love him and our fans love him, if his heart and soul’s not with us, then we have to exchange goodbyes and look to get better.

“We’ve got to have players that are all in for us. Therefore, if he does go, we need to replace him with somebody who’s going to do the same damage but hopefully score more goals.”
