Saint-Étienne (France) (AFP) – Saint-Etienne announced on Monday that midfielder Bryan Dabo, who joined Les Verts earlier this summer, will be out until the end of August after injuring his ankle.

The new recruit hurt himself in Athens against AEK in the return leg of their Europa League qualifier last week and has had a cast placed on his ankle.

Dabo will be unavailable for Saint-Etienne’s Ligue 1 season-opener away to Bordeaux on Saturday. He will also be absent for the Europa League play-off tie against Israeli club Beitar Jerusalem.
