East Rutherford (United States) (AFP) – Angel Di Maria was named in Argentina’s starting line-up for the Copa America Centenario final against Chile here Sunday.

Paris Saint Germain star Di Maria, who has not played since the 5-0 victory over Panama in the group stage, returns to join Gonzalo Higuain and Lionel Messi in a potent front three for Argentina.

Chile’s line-up was as expected, with Bayern Munich’s Arturo Vidal returning from suspension to take his place in midfield.

Alexis Sanchez, who was the subject of an injury scare after taking a knock in training on Saturday, was also in the Chilean starting line-up.

Argentina are bidding to win their first major international title since 1993 in Sunday’s final at the MetLife Stadium.
