FOX Sports’ coverage of the USA vs. Ecuador Copa America Centenario quarter-final was watched by a viewing average of 2.132 million people. The game, which was televised live on Thursday, June 16 from 9:30-11:30pm ET, is the most-watched men’s soccer game in FS1 history.

The prior record for FOX Sports 1 was the USA-Paraguay game that averaged 2.061 million viewers on Saturday, June 11 (7-9pm ET). The United States’ 2-0 loss to No. 3-ranked Colombia delivered 1.536 million viewers on June 3, then on June 7, 1.6 million viewers tuned in to see the United States’ crucial 4-0 win over Costa Rica. FS1 began the USA-Ecuador coverage with an expanded 90-minute pregame show airing live from Seattle. Rob Stone hosted pre-match, halftime and post-match commentary alongside Alexi Lalas, Fernando Fiore, Stu Holden and Seattle Sounders Forward Herculez Gomez, who were live from CenturyLink Field. Aly Wagner and Grant Wahl also contributed to the show.

Univision’s Spanish-language broadcast of the game on Univision Deportes and UniMas was watched by 3.5 million.

USA advances to the Copa America Centenario semi-final, which will be shown live across FOX and Univision networks on Tuesday night. The US Men’s National Team will play the winner of Saturday’s quarter-final between Argentina and Venezuela.
