This summer, every single game of the Copa America Centenario will be shown live on TV networks around the world, including the United States. But not everyone has a cable or satellite TV subscription. If that includes you, we’ve created a post for you entitled the cord cutter’s guide to watching Copa America Centenario, which features several helpful tips to help you cut the cord and watch Copa America Centenario legally and uninterrupted.

First, some important background. In the United States, FOX Sports and Univision have the rights to the Copa America Centenario. FOX has the English-language rights and Univision has the Spanish-language rights.

If you want to watch the Spanish-language programming from Univision, you can sign up for fuboTV or Sling Latino. No cable or TV subscription is required, and both services are completely legal and offer free trials.

Vice-versa, if you want to watch the English-language programming from FOX Sports, you can sign up for FOX Soccer 2GO. They don’t offer a free trial, but they do have a Value Pass, which is $10 for the first month. Again, no cable or satellite TV subscription is required.

And with fuboTV, Sling Latino and FOX Soccer 2GO, you can watch the games on your tablet, smartphone or cast the game to your TV set.

There is another option — Sling MultiStream — which gives you access Univision, UniMas and FOX, FX and FOX Sports 1 for $20/month. But there are a couple of catches. First, FOX Sports 2 is not available on Sling MultiStream. That means you won’t be able to watch 4 of the games on FS2 (those 4 games are on Univision Deportes however). Second, Univision Deportes isn’t available in the base package, so you would need to add the “Best of Spanish Beta” to include Univision Deportes (for $5/month more).

The streaming service that’s best for you will depend on what you’re looking for. The simplest decisions are fuboTV (which is $9.99/month after the trial ends), Sling Latino ($12/month) or FOX Soccer 2GO (which is $19.99/month). Sling TV’s MultiStream can work to bring you both the English-language and Spanish-language programming, but it’s more expensive ($25/month) and you’ll need to keep track of which games are on which network since you won’t get FOX Sports 2.

If you live outside the United States, you can sign up for another of the streaming services mentioned above by using a VPN or smart DNS service (free trials are available). VPNs allow you to remain secure and anonymous online. And they allow you to access any and all online content, whilst remaining hidden from the prying eyes of the government, hackers, snoopers and other malicious entities online.

So, I know what a few of you are saying. “Why should I sign up for a legal streaming service when I can find illegal streams for free?” Here are a few important reasons why: First, many illegal streaming sites contain malware that can attack and harm your computer. Second, the same streaming sites have annoying pop-up ads. Third, the quality of the streams are poor (legal streams are often in HD). And fourth and finally, by using illegal streams, you’re putting money into the pockets of pirates via those banner ads.
