Arsenal will be the opponents in this year’s MLS All-Star Game scheduled to be played in San Jose on Thursday, July 28pm at 9pm ET.

In addition to the Gunners playing the match at Avaya Stadium in San Jose, the team will play another friendly, this time in Los Angeles against Chivas on Sunday, July 31 at the Stubhub Center. The two matches are expected to be the only ones of Arsenal’s North American tour given players being unavailable due to Copa America and Euro 2016, as well as the new Premier League season starting on Saturday, August 13. Also, depending on Arsenal’s run in the FA Cup and Premier League, the team may play the FA Community Shield, which is scheduled for Sunday, August 7.

Arsène Wenger said: “Pre-season is a critically important time for us and we are delighted to be going to San Jose and Los Angeles to participate in the 2016 MLS All-Star game and to play Chivas.
