Chelsea will look to overcome the disappointment of Wednesday’s 2-2 draw at home to West Brom when they host Everton on Saturday.

The Blues are unbeaten in six league games since the departure of Jose Mourinho but only three of those have been wins, with three draws in that time keeping them in 14th position in the Premier League table. Guus Hiddink’s men are now 12 points away from fourth spot and only six above the relegation zone, a position the Dutchman will surely want to improve on this weekend.

They face Everton, who have been very inconsistent this season, but the Toffees have a decent away record, with just one defeat in 10 away league games this season. They beat Chelsea 3-1 in teams’ first encounter this season.

Roberto Martinez will be looking to build on a 0-0 draw in the last game at Manchester City and try to take advantage of a leaky Chelsea defense to give his side their first win at the Champions since 1994 and propel them up the table.

Team News

Eden Hazard is likely to sit out of this one again with a groin injury, which means Pedro could continue in his place, hough Brazilian youngster Kenedy might get the nod after playing a part in Chelsea’s second goal against the Baggies. Otherwise expect an unchanged lineup from Chelsea, with Diego Costa up top while John Obi Mikel and Cesc Fabregas continue in midfield.

For the visitors, Martinez is likely to name the same starting XI that secured a point at City. John Stones should continue at right back with Seamus Coleman still sidelined while Romelu Lukaku will hope to add to his 15-goal tally this season against his former club.
