The Special One clearly had this one locked and loaded. Moments after his team’s scoreless draw in Ukraine against Dynamo Kiev — and days after appealing a fine and suspended ban from England’s Football Association for criticizing match officials — Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has taken another shot at The FA as well as Arsenal manager Arsene Wegner, labeling Slovenian referee Damir Skomina’s performance “weak and naive” for failing to call a penalty in Chelsea’s favor.

From BT Sport:

The comment is as much about Skomina’s perceived failure to whistle a foul as Cesc Fabregas was brought down as Mourinho’s ongoing war with Wenger, whose Arsenal team enjoyed a 2-0 win over Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

In appealing his £50,000 fine from The FA, Mourinho that Wenger was not to be sanctioned earlier this season despite referring to match officials as “weak and naive.” Mourinho also recently noted that only one manager in England is allowed to lose, alluding to Wenger without mentioning his name. Reports have also mentioned the Chelsea boss remains upset that Wenger was not fined after a shoving incident between the two managers last year.

It didn’t take long for Mourinho to make use of his new material. Whether Skomina truly was “weak and naive,” his controversial call gave the Chelsea boss another missile to fire at his favorite foe, in the process immortalizing a new catchphrase in the Special One’s lexicon.
