Speaking after Chelsea defeated Maccabi Tel-Aviv 4-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday night, Blues defender Gary Cahill said that Chelsea has already used a lot of its lifelines this season ahead of the game against Arsenal this weekend.

In an exclusive interview with Garry Hayes, Cahill said:

“We should be confident from what we did (against them) last season. But obviously, like everything in football, when you lose games and the pressure builds and everything else mounts, confidence is affected sometimes. We’ve got massive players. We’ve got players who’ve done a lot in the game in our dressing room. I’m sure it’s a blip, and we’ll bounce back. We’ve used a lot of our lifelines up this season, so Saturday is going to be a big game.”
