Manchester City travel to White Hart Lane on Sunday as they face Tottenham Hotspur on a day where Chelsea and Jose Mourinho could win this season’s league title.

The visitors have a good record over the Lilywhites in recent times winning the last three meetings and scoring 15 with only two goals conceded.

Manuel Pellegrini’s men have had a terrible league campaign but they still have second place to fight for and they must pick up maximum points here to remain above Arsenal who play on Monday.

Spurs managed to rescue a point last week at St. Marys but they simply need to be better defensively if they hope to take anything out of this match against the league’s top scorers.

The official in charge of this one is Andre Marriner.

Team News

For the hosts, Ben Davies is ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his dislocated shoulder while Danny Rose is also a doubt but Paulinho is available after missing last week’s game due to the birth of his child.

City have some injury worries of their own with Yaya Toure, Vincent Kompany and Stevan Jovetic all set to miss out while Gael Clichy is also a doubt. Samir Nasri is back in contention however and he could replace Jesus Navas in the starting XI.
