Chelsea host Liverpool in the second leg of their semifinal encounter on Tuesday after playing out a 1-1 draw in the first leg last week.

The Blues were knocked out of the FA Cup after suffering a ‘disgraceful’ 4-2 loss at home to Bradford in the FA Cup on Saturday despite going two goals up in the first half.

Manager Jose Mourinho spoke about how ashamed he was at the result but he has already turned his attention to Tuesday’s cup game and believes his players can rise up to the occasion.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Mourinho said:

“We need to forget this one [Bradford] and start the next game in a different competition, and I know we are one victory away from playing a final.

“It’s the good thing about playing consecutive matches without many days in between. It’s the good thing that, when you lose, you have to focus immediately on the next game. You don’t have a lot of time to be moaning or analyzing what happened in the bad one. Let’s move and let’s think about the next one.”

Meanwhile, Liverpool were held to a 0-0 draw at Anfield meaning that they have to contend with an FA Cup replay next week.

Going into this match, the Reds are on a 10-match unbeaten run and a confident Brendan Rodgers insists that his side have nothing to fear in Tuesday’s decider at Stamford Bridge.

“The message is for us to go out and have no fear,” the Reds’ boss said.

“We respect the opponent of course because they’re a very good team but we’ve got nothing to fear in the game. We’re a team that’s in a good moment.”

“We’re playing well, we’re working well and we know we can go there and win – that’s key.”

Chelsea are the fresher side coming into this match with Mourinho resting nine of his key players for the match against Bradford.

Thibaut Courtois is expected to man the goalposts with a back four of Branislav Ivanovic, John Terry, Gary Cahill and Felipe Luis, while Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas will replace Ramires and  John Obi Mikel in the center of midfield.

Expect no surprises in Chelsea’s front four with Eden Hazard, Willian and Oscar set to play behind spearhead Diego Costa.

For Liverpool, Rodgers is likely to stick with the same lineup that played so well against Chelsea last week.

Raheem Sterling and Philippe Coutinho played the whole 90 minutes against Bolton but the duo are likely to be in the starting XI when the team sheets are released. In some good news for the Reds, Daniel Sturridge could make his return from injury in this match with the former Chelsea man likely to come off the bench late on in the game.
