Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund, Germany DFL-Supercup: Open Thread

The 2014 DFL-Supercup kicks off today at Noon ET on GolTV (for viewers in the United States) featuring Bayern Munich against Borussia Dortmund.

The annual cup competition features the winner of the Bundesliga (Bayern) against the winner of the DFB-Pokal (Dortmund).

Dortmund are the reigning champions, having beaten Bayern 4–2 in 2013. And conveniently, the match will be played at the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund rather than at a neutral stadium.

Starting line-ups:

Bayern Munich: Neuer, Martinez, Lewandowski, Shaqiri, Gaudino, Boateng, Bernat, Rode, Müller, Alaba, Hojbjerg

Borussia Dortmund: Langerak – Piszczek, Sokratis, Ginter, Schmelzer – Kehl, Kirch – Hofmann, Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang – Immobile

    1. Me neither. I remember reading after Goltv lost La Liga that goltv would be finished and gone in one year. They are still around and yet very few in the US (if anyone) can watch them.

  1. If you can get Directv there is no reason you can’t get Goltv. All you need to add is the Spanish soccer package which is like $5.00 month, then you get bein esp, Goltv, ESPN deportes, tyc sports, time warner sports, fox deportes .. They just need to add to your dish to get international programming- they will do that for free.
