Inter Milan Set To Offer Fredy Guarin For Manchester United Striker Chicharito, Say Reports

fredy guarin Inter Milan Set To Offer Fredy Guarin For Manchester United Striker Chicharito, Say Reports

The Italian news outlets, Sportmediaset and Tuttosport, are reporting that Inter Milan will offer midfielder Fredy Guarin in exchange for Manchester United’s Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez.

The 28-year-old Colombian international has previously been linked with a move to Manchester United, but in recent weeks it has been determined that Serie A champions Juventus had taken an interest in the player.

According to the reports, the proposal will be addressed on Tuesday, since Milan and United are both in the United States for the Guinness International Champions Cup.

It is believed that Chicharito is not part of Louis Van Gaal’s plans at Old Trafford, but the club won’t be willing to part with the Mexican striker for less than £11million.

When asked directly about Chicharito, Van Gaal commented: “I have to see if he performs how I want. Now I can only see what he has showed under the guidance of another Coach. We will train and after that he will perform in a match and then I can say something about that.”

Chicharito was with the team during Manchester United’s 7-0 victory over LA Galaxy at the Rose Bowl earlier this week. He wasn’t able to participate in the friendly because he had only joined the club’s US tour the day before the match.

There has been speculation in England that La Liga Champions Atletico Madrid are also interested in signing the Mexico international.
