Newcastle United Home Shirt For 2014/15 Season: Leaked [PHOTOS]

Photos of Newcastle United’s home shirt for the 2014/15 season have been leaked on the Internet.

Honestly, I feel sorry for Newcastle United supporters. For a club with so much history (as well as several classic Newcastle shirts), it just feels that the club owners treat their fans as second class citizens. The club often releases three new shirts every summer (sometimes even four), but the designs are garish as the ones from the previous season.

If you ripped off the sleeves on Newcastle’s 2014/15 home shirt from Puma, you’d be left with a shirt design that would fit right in with one of the Aussie Rules Football teams.

Plus, the shirt doesn’t look like a traditional Newcastle United classic.

The question for Newcastle United executives is, do they care anymore?

Alex, you seem to have it in for Newcastle kits. I believe you said something similar about their last season’s gray away kit (which I and the other posters thought was decent). I agree, it’s not a classic but I don’t consider it garish; a bit different for sure. It’s certainly not as bad as that 80′s “barcode” kit.

  2. PL says:

You’re not very good with photoshop are you? The photo of Santon is obviously photoshopped. The stripes and neckline are different.

The shirt is fine, and as for NU execs, they’ve done a brilliant job turning the club into a financial force first, before building a solid team. NU will challenge for the top 6 this season.

  3. NC says:

I said something similar in the Juve thread, but Juve is more consistent in putting out a good shirt than Newcastle. I’d throw this one into the same category as the 2011-2012 kit that featured just two white stripes.
