Last week, Fulham FC released their new home kit for the 2014/15 season.

The team, according to a club statement, has “captured (the club’s) unique past, but added a touch of the future” with this new offering.

Nonsensical marketing drivel notwithstanding, everything about this new home kit is rather agreeable. A definite step up from last season’s, this uniform is sure to be a hit with Fulham fans.

The jersey is white, with light grey stripes on the front panel, supposedly inspired by the club’s striped shirts of the 1980s.

The kit features orange trim on the V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs, referred to, somewhat pretentiously, as “vibrant infrared tipping” on the club’s website.

Kit manufacturers adidas return for another season, as do sponsors MarathonBet.

As it was on last season’s home kit, the black adidas logo can be found on the centre of the jersey, just underneath the collar.

MarathonBet’s logo has been slightly re-jigged from last season; it now takes up more space, but still goes well with the overall design of the shirt. The white, black and red of the sponsor’s logo complements Fulham’s crest nicely.

The shorts are black and the socks white, both with hi-viz orange trim.

Although not yet released, leaked images of Fulham’s new away kit suggest it’s based on the exact same design template as the home kit.

The shirt is black with dark grey stripes, again with vibrant orange collar and sleeve cuffs. The adidas motifs are orange, while MarathonBet’s logo is unchanged.

It’s believed that the new away shorts will be orange, although this has yet to be confirmed.

We can also reveal that the club have recycled last season’s red-and-white away kit as this season’s third (alternate) strip.

Finally, the Championship club have also released their 2014/15 goalkeeper home kit. It’s based on the same design as all new adidas ‘keeper jerseys – the Onore 14 template. This strip is light green with dark green patches running along the edge of the torso.

The shorts and socks are both light green.

The shirts can be found at www.fulhamdirect.fulhamfc.com, or direct from the Stadium Store at Craven Cottage.
