Where to Watch the World Cup In Nashville

dan mcguinness Where to Watch the World Cup In Nashville

The wave of soccer support in the Nashville area has been steadily growing for several years now. Scores upon scores of kids playing in very successful youth programs and club teams, growth in popularity of the Nashville Football Club, and hosting US men’s and women’s national team games at LP Field have all no doubt helped to bring interest in the beautiful game to new levels in Music City.

The Nashville area also has strong club supporters groups like the Manchester United Fans of Middle Tennessee. Groups like this one gather at pubs across the city to enjoy their club’s fixtures, and this year their support has also helped lead the way to larger than ever World Cup viewing.

The city is filled with some really good places to watch matches with friends, family, and supporters groups. Here’s a list of my favorite ones. They each are unique and have done a great job gathering, hosting viewing parties, and serving fans during this World Cup. You can’t go wrong with any of them, and you could have a great time at them all!

Here are my 4 recommended places to watch the World Cup in Nashville, TN:

1. Bunganut Pig
(Large Venue, Great TV’s, Outdoor Seating & Games, Pool Tables, Great for Families and Teams)

1143 Columbia Avenue
Franklin, TN

2. Dan McGuinness
(Another Large Venue, Big USA following here, Pool Tables, 21 & Up Only)

9200 Carouthers Parkway
Franklin, TN

3. Cool Springs Brewery
(Great Brewery/Pub in the Cool Springs Area, Great TV’s)

600A Frazier Drive, Suite 135
Franklin, TN

4. Fleet Street Pub
(Great Basement Vibe, Good Supporters Groups, Pool Table, A Really Fun Place in the Heart of the City to Watch any Match)

207 Printer’s Alley
Nashville, TN

There are for sure a number of other awesome places showing matches. Add to the list and let’s continue to grow the game in Nashville!

Yeah Nashville on WST! The Bunganut Pig is just down the street from my house… they serve a good burger. I second the Dan McGuinness suggestion also; when I first moved to Nashville and lived downtown DM was where I went to watch big games.

As a founder of Nashville FC, I love that you mentioned it in your article. I think the club has surprised even themselves with the success of their first season… and fun that they have teamed up with Harpeth FC to have an “academy” program. Hopefully MLS will notice what’s going on in Music City and expand into the southeast.

Thanks for the comment! I”m headed to The Pig here in a bit. I’m just down the street as well. Let me know if you happen to come by. I’d love to meet you. Should be a good group for the match this morning.

I keep hearing great things about Nashville FC and love what I’ve seen so far! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for doing this – I have to point out that the Dan McGuinness in the picture is the one on Demonbreun in Nashville, which is probably going to draw the largest crowd.
