France plays Honduras in a World Cup Group E game today at 3pm ET/Noon PT, in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Les Bleus will be highly expected to dismantle their Central American opponents, but anything could happen. France will be without their star player, Bayern Munich left winger Franck Ribery. Expect Real Sociedad’s young Antoine Griezmann to fill in for him.

France predicted lineup:

GK: Hugo Lloris

A very underrated goalkeeper, Lloris is a very solid choice in goal. Should Honduras get any chances, expect the Tottenham goalkeeper to come up with a few big saves.

LB: Patrice Evra

Expect to see the Manchester United man gliding down the left flank and putting crosses into the box.

CB: Laurent Koscielny

Another very underrated footballer, Koscielny had a very impressive season with Arsenal while helping to guide them to FA Cup glory.

CB: Raphael Varane

Easily one of the best young players in the game, expect the Real Madrid man to form a great partnership with Koscielny.

RB: Bacary Sagna

Expect Manchester City’s newest signing to put in a solid showing at right-back for the French.

MC: Yohan Cabaye

Expect the relatively new signing for PSG to be a very strong creative force for Les Bleus.

MC: Paul Pogba

Possibly the best young footballer in the world right now, the Juventus man will be a rock for France in the midfield and expect him to have a strong candidacy for the Best Young Player Award in this tournament, as he has already been named Europe’s best player under 21.

MC: Blaise Matuidi

The PSG midfielder is a defensive rock in midfield who should put in a very strong performance.

WL: Antoine Griezmann

Griezmann, will have big shoes to fill as he is replacing the injured Franck Ribery, he will not disappoint.

WR: Mathieu Valbuena

The diminutive Marseille man should put in a very strong showing on the right wing.

FC: Karim Benzema

Benzema should play very well considering that he was an integral part of this season’s Real Madrid double winning team.

Don’t expect too much from Honduras. They will probably finish in the cellar of Group E.
