  1. Christopher Harris says:

Without any shadow of a doubt, Colombia has the most supportive fans so far this World Cup.

    • Tony Butterworth says:

      More than Brazil?

It’s not that surprising. 2nd largest country in SA. All 4 games have featured teams from outside SA (except Brazil of course)

      • Christopher Harris says:

It’s surprising that the fans created a better atmosphere in Colombia game than the Brazil fans did in the Brazil game.

  2. Ivan says:

Too bad, the Greeks have outplayed the Colombians so far, but it’s a game of goals…

Despite their wins, all 3 South American sides have been unimpressive.

I won’t be surprised if both Chile and Colombia are 3 and out, actually.

As long as Espana recovers mentally, they should be able to get past the Chileans.

Let’s see what Ivory Coast and Japan have in store tonight.

  3. goatslookshifty says:

So far, no team has appeared to let the heat affect them. They all look well climatised. Let’s home England aren’t the first to wither at the end of a match.

  4. Flyvanescence says:

Can somebody put a clapper on Taylor bloody Twellman?

  5. Brian says:

Colombia appear to play so effortlessly and slow yet are very effective. There’s a reason why they finished second to Argentina in the qualifiers. Even without Falcao they are good. They are in a weak group so they have a great chance of progressing past the group stage.

Greece once again cannot do anything in World Cups. They had some chances but not enough quality in the final third.

  6. R.O says:

Ref did a very good job. Per ESPN first MLS ref since 2002 at WC.

Would like to see more Ref’s like that in MLS.
