Southampton striker Daniel Osvaldo is a target of FC Internazionale, the Italian press reports.

The 28-year-old striker played the last six months for FC Internazionale’s most hatred rivals and Serie A champions, FC Juventus.

The Argentine born striker joined Southampton last year for €15 million. He played the first part of last season at St. Mary’s Stadium, where he didn’t impress during his performances, scoring just three goals in 13 appearances. After a fight with his teammate, Jose Fonte at the end of January, Dani Osvaldo left the Premier League to come back to Serie A and play for Juventus.

At the Juventus Stadium, he hasn’t had a problem with any teammates, but his performances have not been impressive. He scored one goal in 11 Serie A appearances and the Bianconeri won’t pay the release fee of €18m to buy him from Southampton.

Now Inter Milan are now interested in the forward, who could be wearing the Nerazzurri shirt on loan for a season. It would be the 7th Serie A team he has played with, after Atalanta, Lecce, Bologna, Fiorentina, Roma and Juventus.

Osvaldo’s career has been full of high and lows so far. He played at his best at Espanyol, where he scored 13 goals in 24 appearences in 2011-2012 and the following two seasons at Roma, where he hit the big target 27 times in 55 appearances.
