On a hot and humid day in South Florida, England and Ecuador battled in a lively friendly at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium on Wednesday afternoon. In addition to the promising performance by Ross Barkley as well as the unfortunate injury to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, there were plenty of talking points from the 2-2 stalemate, with more than 21,000 spectators looking on.
