I bloody hope we dont have to hear Twellman commentate on anything besides the USA at the World Cup. Bloody awful. Makes me want John Harkes back, as sad as that sounds.

  2. Brian says:

This is Turkey’s C team plus Sahin. USA should win this easily.

  3. hoosiergunner says:

    Lovely goal.

  4. Proud Eurosnob says:

I wish Gus Johnson was calling this game…..

  5. San Fransiscan says:

So Disrespectful from Dempsey celebrating while doing the Turkey after scoring the 2nd goal.

  6. Ivan says:

US defense was brutal. Can’t get out of this group with this defense. And this was v. Turkey’s B side.

Attacking options were surprisingly plenty and creativity was there.

  7. jtm371 says:

Saw nothing today to change my prediction of three and out. wish it was not like that but the truth hurts. :(

  8. KapUSMC says:

Just out of curiosity… Why is everyone calling this a B and C side? I am not a Turkey expert by any means, but I looked through the match reports on whoscored.com and other than Kivrak (the goalkeeper) in the lineup and the absence of Turan due to injury, this basically the team that played in group D for Turkey during qualifying. Did they try and qualify with their B/C team?
