Spain manager Vicente del Bosque has named his 23-man squad for World Cup 2014 today. And while the squad is brimming with talent, there are several key players who will be watching the tournament on television instead of playing in Brazil.

Del Bosque has decided that there’s no room on the squad for Manchester City’s Alvaro Negredo and Jesus Navas. The same can be said for Juventus striker Fernando Llorente as well as Real Madrid defender Daniel Carvajal.

Meanwhile, the Spain manager has made room to include Diego Costa, Fernando Torres, Juanfran, Juan Mata and David Villa, who may be signing a deal with MLS this week.

The complete 23-man World Cup squad from Spain is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Iker Casillas, Pepe Reina, David de Gea

Defenders: Sergio Ramos, Gerard Pique, Raoul Albiol, Javi Martinez, Jordi Alba, Cesar Azpilicueta, Juanfran Torres

Midfielders: Koke, Xavi, Xabi Alonso, Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets, Cesc Fabregas, Santi Cazorla, Pedro Rodriguez, Juan Mata, David Silva

Strikers: Fernando Torres, David Villa, Diego Costa
