  1. Christopher Harris says:

So many near misses and goal-line clearances in this one so far!

  2. Abdirahman says:

Its first time i watched europa league this season since the final last year it’s always great to watch a european final

  3. Abdirahman says:

In this last minutes david pleat is adding a little excitment for his comms.

  4. Abdirahman says:

Penelty shout out i hope banfica will triumph they desrve this after what happened to them last year in amesterdam

  5. Abdirahman says:

Oh dear this is trouble for benfica their curse continues

  6. San Fransiscan says:

How did those referees did no see the keeper off his line twice??

    Benfica were robbed.

  7. San Fransiscan says:

I bet I just saw John Terry celebrating with Sevilla.

  8. Bo says:

What a year for Spain. wow!

  9. Abdirahman says:

Its all spanish this year! The first two teams in one city to play championsleague league final “madrid derby” as well the uefa super cup this year is all spanish and to add that their tittle race going to wire. Fantastic.

  10. Burnsey says:

What exactly is Dr Joe contributing? Who is Dr. Joe?

    • Christopher Harris says:

Good comment. I wonder the same thing myself. They have no clue!

While the following two were world-class players, I also question what Mikael Silvestre and Mario Melchiot are doing in the studio. They add absolutely nothing.

      • Darren White says:

I quite like Dr. Joe. Think he adds a lot. He’s been utilized to talk about quite a few things that are unclear to the average soccer fan in the US. In pregame segment he broke down a very controversial play that basically got Benfica into the final, something that most commentators said was a clear handball and Juventus should have been awarded a penalty. Alas, it wasn’t a pen.

  11. CTBlues says:

Now if only Sevilla qualified for the Champions League with that win just a couple seasons too soon.

  12. Europa League is crap says:

Too bad Platini couldn’t pull the trigger to ax the Europa League (and merge it into the Champions League.)

Wednesday’s final is one more reason why the Europa League is losing its relevance: two small brands playing 120 minutes with no goals.

  13. Nuno says:

It was a shame the Felix referee work, 3 penaltys and this referre did not see any one, a shame to Europe soccer, Eufa on is best!
