  1. Its all spanish this year! The first two teams in one city to play championsleague league final “madrid derby” as well the uefa super cup this year is all spanish and to add that their tittle race going to wire. Fantastic.

    1. Good comment. I wonder the same thing myself. They have no clue!

While the following two were world-class players, I also question what Mikael Silvestre and Mario Melchiot are doing in the studio. They add absolutely nothing.

      1. I quite like Dr. Joe. Think he adds a lot. He’s been utilized to talk about quite a few things that are unclear to the average soccer fan in the US. In pregame segment he broke down a very controversial play that basically got Benfica into the final, something that most commentators said was a clear handball and Juventus should have been awarded a penalty. Alas, it wasn’t a pen.

  2. Too bad Platini couldn’t pull the trigger to ax the Europa League (and merge it into the Champions League.)

Wednesday’s final is one more reason why the Europa League is losing its relevance: two small brands playing 120 minutes with no goals.

  3. It was a shame the Felix referee work, 3 penaltys and this referre did not see any one, a shame to Europe soccer, Eufa on is best!
