With the World Cup only a month away, ESPN is bringing even more coverage with the combination of re-airing of classic World Cup matches as well as friendlies, which will air on ESPN Classic. Along with the games, ESPN Classic is scheduling repeats of their 30for30: Soccer Stories series.

Here’s the updated schedule of World Cup-related programming from ESPN (for viewers in the USA):

    I wouldn’t be against seeing some matches from the 86 and 82 world cups. Better yet let’s see some of the total
    Football from the Dutch at the 74 World Cup. Players from those eras put today’s pros to shame.

    I just found the channel and for some reason it is the only ESPN channel not in HD, strange.

    I am glad to see that ESPN Classic is finally showing some a few matches. But a couple of years ago I offered my archive of US National Team matches to ESPN Classic. I thought it would be great if they showed some vintage USA games from the 1980s and 1990s. But they weren’t interested in showing any of them. What can I do? Here is my collection…
