Jose Mourinho Rues Sloppy and Ridiculous Defensive Mistakes in 3-1 Loss to PSG [VIDEO]

In his post-match interview, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho described the goals that his team conceded in the 3-1 loss to Paris Saint Germain as sloppy and ridiculous.

Mourinho was disappointed with the poor clearance that resulted in the first goal, the free kick that was conceded that led to the second goal (an own goal) and poor defending for the final goal by Paris Saint-Germain, where Javier Pastore dribbled past three Chelsea defenders to slot the ball into the back of the net.

Interestingly, Sky Sports reporter Geoff Shreeves asked Mourinho point-blank what he was thinking tactically when he started the game with no striker, and had Andre Schurrle up top instead.

Not used to having his tactics called into question, Mourinho laughed nervously and said “Don’t ask me to explain much.”

  1. Can we all agree the La Nina deal was a supreme disaster. Why AM would want him back is beyond me. Chelsea might want to keep Luiz on the bench so his transfer fee won’t keep going down. What a clown of a display from Luiz today.

  2. What a bunch of jealous and ignorant people you all are. If not for defensive errors made by individual players, Chelsea would of won the game to nil.
Nothing to do with a failure of mourinho’s tactics.
Get a life, and you all wish your club could compete for so many trophies year after year.
