The FA have charged Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho with improper conduct for his behavior during Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Aston Villa.

According to The FA, “it is alleged the Chelsea manager’s behavior in re-entering the field of play in or around the 90th minute of the fixture and approaching the Match Referee amounted to improper conduct.”

Mourinho left the technical area at Stamford Bridge and walked on to the pitch after Chelsea midfielder Ramires had been sent off for a foul.

The FA reports that Mourinho has until March 24 at 6pm GMT to respond to the charge.
