This weekend’s marquee MLS game on NBCSN features Seattle Sounders versus Toronto FC.

It’s the Canadian’s side’s first match of the 2014 MLS season, and not to put more pressure on the side that now features Michael Bradley, Jermain Defoe and Julio Cesar, but the local Toronto papers exclaimed today that it’s “Playoffs or bust” for TFC.

Seattle against Toronto will be shown live on NBCSN beginning at 4:30pm ET today.

Before, during or after today’s match, join the conversation in the comments section below with fellow soccer fans from around the world.

  1. CTBlues says:

Yay, more soccer on fake turf!

  2. Hickorywind says:

The only reason I was watching was to see Defoe. Nice.

  3. Americano & Proud says:

Defeo with a brace in 25 minutes. Is Roy Hodgson staying up for this?

  4. CTBlues says:

That was a nice Timbers logo next to Dempsey’s name on that list of goals scored in the match.

  5. Balboa77 says:

I gave you a thumbs down for your name, CTBlues. I wouldn’t dream of giving you a thumbs down for pointing out a mistake that some overworked graphics design guy did on NBCSN… I am not that kind of guy.
