For the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Australia are going completely retro with their home and away shirt designs courtesy of Nike, according to photos of the shirts that have been leaked on the Internet.

Australia’s shirts have gone retro with a 1970’s-style collar that was quite common among soccer shirts during the time. Interestingly, South African team the Kaiser Chiefs wear a similar-styled shirt this season.

The away shirt for Australia is based on the same style, but with a different color scheme.

All together, Australia’s walk down memory lane is a breath of fresh air. Full credit must go to Nike and Australia for being so bold.
