Michael Bradley’s name continues to be mentioned in each successive transfer window as a player who could be on his way to another club from AS Roma. In previous months, his name has been linked with Sunderland and Fulham. Now, the latest transfer rumor is that Tottenham Hotspur are very interested in signing the gifted USMNT midfielder, according to The Daily Mirror newspaper.

The transfer speculation regarding Bradley leaving Roma has been heightened after the Serie A club signed midfielder Radja Nainggolan yesterday. The new signing by AS Roma could alert Tottenham Hotspur Technical Director Franco Baldini into making a move for Bradley.

However, since Tottenham is already so stacked with creative midfielders, the likelihood of Michael Bradley leaving AS Roma to join Tottenham during a World Cup year, where he’s unlikely to get a lot of playing time, is highly improbable. At least if Bradley moved to Fulham or Sunderland, he’d be able to play a key role in turning those club’s fortunes around even if he didn’t have a successful loan at Aston Villa previously.
