Abou Diaby Is Not Likely to Play Again For Arsenal This Season, Says Report

Abou Diaby is not likely to return to action this season for Arsenal in yet another injury setback, which has ruled out the defensive midfielder since March 2013.

Diaby was originally supposed to be back to full fitness in December, but the French midfielder who has suffered 35 different injuries in his Arsenal career from 2006-2013, is still trying to recover from his knee injury, according to a report by Goal.

In addition to Diaby, Arsenal’s long injury list now includes Walcott, Sanogo, Giroud, Ramsey, Gibbs and Oxlade-Chamberlain.

  1. ahhh that's a shame..I was hopin he'd be makin his comeback soon. Was only checkin up on him the other day. I really think this guy has the ability to be a world class CM. Just needs to get his head/decision making right and hopefully get fully fit and stay fully fit from then on. He has tonnes of ability & is such a classy player. Hope he makes a full recovery. Hate to see injuries ruin a career.
