Just hours after reports in Italy said that Mario Balotelli is for sale, AC Milan have issued a statement on its website to categorically state that Balotelli will not be sold in the January transfer window.

The statement from AC Milan reads:

“AC Milan categorically denies statements that have been attributed to club President Sivlio Berlusconi regarding the possible transfer of Mario Balotelli. Mario Balotelli is and will remain an AC Milan player.”
