Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney became only the second person to score 150 goals for a single Premier League club today when he unleashed a brilliant shot to score against Hull City, to make it 2-2 in a sensational match inside just the first 25 minutes.

The only other Premier League footballer to reach the same milestone as Rooney is Thierry Henry.

    Frank lampard has already scored 150 pl goals! He was the second!

      Some of those goals were from West Ham. Rooney hit 150 last year but 15 of them came for Everton. If you read the post it states that he is the second to reach 150 for a single club.

    I love when good players start to get to the point in their careers when they begin to hit all these round number achievements: goals, games played, etc.

    It really does illustrate how good Rooney has been. I know he isn’t a perfect player, but he’s been very, very good for a very long time and United has been smart to keep paying him to retain his services.
