On today’s edition of Monday Night Football on Sky Sports, pundits Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher discussed whether Liverpool can win the 2013/14 Premier League title.

When Carragher began to discuss the topic, former Manchester United footballer Neville made a face and joked that god was playing a trick on him with Liverpool being top of the league, sitting beside Carragher, who used to play for Manchester United’s most hated rival (the Reds).

Joking aside, Carragher and Neville got into a good conversation regarding Liverpool’s strengths, and both walked away agreeing with each other on many of their main points.

One Response to Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher Discuss Whether Liverpool Can Win the Premier League Title [VIDEO]

  1. Jim says:

Given the way this season has started anyone in the top 8 can win the title. So, yes, Liverpool can win it but they will need to make sure that they don’t lose to those teams in the top 8 and beat the other clubs consistently. Big ask since Liverpool’s squad isn’t as strong as most of the other top 8 sides.

Regardless of what happens in their next two away games against City and Chelsea, Liverpool need to add some quality players(maybe it got a little easier with Suarez staying) and then finishing in the top 4. That’s a more realistic target for Liverpool right now.
