  1. Flyvanescence says:

No Dortmund v Napoli on tv?

    Im not even shocked anymore.

  2. James says:

Zenit vs Athletico is being shown on Fox Deportes. Nil-Nil at the half.

  3. Len F says:

    Nice start for Arsenal :)

  4. KapUSMC says:

Not todays game, but Julian Green got called up for tomorrow. I hope he gets some minutes, I would like to see him in something other then youtube clips.

  5. Marc L says:

Good grief – this Basel team just looks utterly terrifying to play against every time I see them. Maybe I just catch them on their better days. But it’s about three running of that.

I would buy the hell out of that Salah if I were, like, pretty much anyone. Stocker too, for that matter.

    • Marc L says:

Three years running, I meant. They were really tough in the Europa last year and really scared some people the year before (seem to remember them taking the first leg from Bayern in the round of 16)

  6. Marc L says:

Good for Basel! I hope they make it through!

  7. James says:

Too bad Chelsea are still through. They were terrible and Mourinho has lost his mojo.

    • COYx says:

Most teams in CL are terrible. Only 7-8 teams out of 32 in the group stage are good quality the rest are just dross.

      • KapUSMC says:

Really? So I’m guessing you are saying Real Madrid, Barca, Bayern, Juve, Man City and U, Arsenal, and PSG are the only quality teams? By that logic there are only 10-20 quality match ups a year in club and CL play combined. Engage in hyperbole much? And this gets thumbs up comments? C’mon people.

  8. R.O says:

Excellent win for BVB. Win in Marseille and their through, although if Arsenal beat Napoli and BVB get a draw against Marseille, BVB still get through but don’t wont to count on the Arsenal-Napoli game.

I was able to watch the game online (for free via streaming) and I must say, BVB seems to be having some difficulties finishing when they are in the box. It’s been a problem in their last 4 games. Lewandowski in particular. Hope it’s only a minor hiccup.

    • Len F says:

I don’t see much to worry about with Marseille even with Dortmund not playing at their best currently. Other than the first 10 minutes of the second half, they looked completely disinterested against Arsenal and were fortunate not to give up more.

  9. Matt says:

Chelsea were pretty bad today but luckily for them Schalke screwed up so they make it to the next round and will likely win the group.

I wonder what FOX will do next week, I doubt they will put Schalke-Basel on one of their top networks despite that match being pretty much a play-in game…same with Milan-Ajax. Or will they stick with showing Chelsea-Steaua (zzzz)

  10. Dust says:

CFC lose to apparent lesser teams & it’s s CFC bad performance, Jose was clearly flat out coached…that’s it…

Media never call him out tho, like he is impervious. Such a crock
