What club has scored the most number of goals in the Premier League during 2013 thus far? The answer may surprise you. Or, if you’re a Tottenham Hotspur supporter, the above graphic may be distressing despite the club’s lofty position in the table.

Liverpool are on top of the goalscoring charts followed by Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United and then Spurs. But obviously league tables aren’t calculated on a calendar year basis. Plus the above graphic doesn’t take into consideration the number of goals conceded.

Having said all that, it’s still a promising stat for Liverpool supporters. The next games for Liverpool are against Everton, Hull and Norwich. A win against Everton will move the Reds to first place in the Premier League table on November 23 — at least temporarily before Arsenal plays Southampton later that day.
