Scotland Home Shirt for 2014/16: Leaked [PHOTO]

A photo of Scotland’s home shirt for 2014 has been leaked on the Internet.

Designed and manufactured by adidas, the shirt isn’t scheduled to be officially unveiled until next week. The navy blue shirt features silver on the three stripes, Scottish FA crest and adidas logo, while the v-neck collar features a red trim. Meanwhile, on the cuffs of the shirt are a tartan design.

While the shirt is a unique design, it doesn’t say “Scottish” to me. However, the poor lighting perhaps undermines how well designed the shirt may be. In a better light, the shirt’s colors may look different. From what I see so far, it looks too similar to one of the old Germany away shirts.

  1. It looks like the same template as the Wales and japan strips, so there’s likely a silver line across the back, above where a name would go. If Adidas wias ambitious, there might be a sweep of tartan above that, like the Japan kit’s red.

But I doubt it. Pretty plain kit, pretty inferior to the current.
