Tottenham attacking midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson scored a beautiful solo goal for Tottenham Hotspur against Hull City in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night, to put the Spurs 1-0 up against the Tigers.
Sigurdsson continues to show why Spurs decided to be aggressive when trying to sign the Icelandic international as Liverpool were close to signing the player, while Swansea tried to do the same.
In Sigurdsson’s goal today, commentator Jon Champion described the goal as “There’s another effort that deserves honorable mention. However long he plays, he won’t score too many better than this. The drag back and the exocet of a shot.”
