Under the terms of the agreement between Manchester United and West Ham United, the Hammers have to pay Manchester United £25,000 every time they pick Ravel Morrison, according to an article in The Telegraph newspaper. Under the terms of the complex contract, West Ham have already paid the Old Trafford club £200,000 for the midfielder’s eight games this season.

This is on top of the £850,000 that West Ham United originally paid Manchester United for the gifted midfielder.

The low transfer fee was agreed due to “concerns over whether he would ever eventually knuckle down and succeed in the Premier League.” Sir Alex Ferguson originally wanted £3million for the player, but the £850,000 transfer fee plus per-match payments were agreed instead.

Based on his sensational goal for West Ham against Tottenham Hotspur last week, West Ham United may be paying the £25,000 per match fee quite often this season.
