real madrid atletico madrid 600x337 Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid, La Liga Gameweek 7: Open Thread

Today features the Madrid derby between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. For viewers in the United States, the match will be shown live on beIN SPORT beginning at 3:55pm ET.

Atleti sits in second place in La Liga, two points ahead of third place Real Madrid. Los Blancos will be wanting to grab a victory today at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in order to leapfrog over Atletico Madrid and close the gap with Barcelona to two points. That is, of course, if Real Madrid can defeat a very powerful Atletico Madrid side.

Starting line-ups:

Real Madrid: Diego Lopez, Pepe, Ramos, Coentrao, Khedira, Ronaldo, Benzema, Arbeloa, Di Maria, Isco, Illarramendi.

Atletico Madrid:
