Chelsea Complete Signing of Samuel Eto’o On One-Year Contract

Chelsea have completed the signing of Cameroon striker Samuel Eto’o on a free transfer from Anzhi Makhachkala.

In 2011, Eto’o became the world’s highest paid footballer with a salary of €20 million after tax per season. After the Anzhi owner decided to shrink the team’s budget this summer, Eto’o was put on the transfer market.

Chelsea swooped in with a wage offer that is believed to be £7million per year.

Eto’o has won titles in Spain and Italy as well as winning the African Cup Of Nations in 2000 and 2002. Plus, he is a four-time winner of the African Player of the Year Award.

    1. Ya agree with you. Drogba has given so much to Chelsea and he is still as agile as he was before.
Don't know what Mourinho is upto!!

  1. Hei mourinho u lost uefa super cup yesterday but to me you are still the special one you used to be

  2. I wonder whether the Plastic fans will boo Eto,like they did Benitez, since Eto once said of Chelsea " I'd rather sell groundnuts in my village then to play for a pathetic club like Chelsea".
