Manchester United Drawn Against Liverpool In League Cup Third Round: Full Draw Revealed

Only a few weeks after this weekend’s Premier League match between Liverpool and Manchester United, the two teams will face each other again, this time in the third round of the League Cup.

The match between the two most successful teams in English football history is the plum tie of the round. In other enticing matches, Newcastle United plays Leeds United (the Elland Road club are renowned for their giant killing in recent years), Manchester City faces Wigan in a Lancashire derby, and Hull City faces Huddersfield Town in a Yorkshire derby.

  1. Great lottery drawing by Swindon. More than likely they'll probably be squashed by Chelsea, but hopefully they can put up a good fight for their supporters when the big club rolls through town.
