Sampdoria vs Juventus, Serie A Opening Day: Open Thread

The 2013/14 season of Serie A kicked off earlier today featuring Verona against AC Milan. The next match on deck is Sampdoria versus Juventus, which will be shown live on television — for viewers in the United States — on beIN SPORT beginning at 2:30pm ET.

Juventus will want to get their new season off to a bright start as they hope to win their third title in a row. Meanwhile, Sampdoria was the only side last year to beat Juventus at both home and away, so i Blucerchiati will be fancying their chances.

Before, during or after today’s match, post your rants, raves, questions or observations about the match in the comments section.

  1. Milan were unlucky not to get a penalty kick late in the game, but give credit to Luca Toni and Hellas Verona for not backing down and getting the three points.

I also have to say that it was amazing to see how much being back in Serie A meant to the Hellas supporters.
