Millwall Football Club had to wear Sheffield Wednesday’s away uniform today after their kit man brought the wrong one by accident.

When Millwall play away, they typically wear their white away kit. But the kit man brought Millwall’s blue kit instead, which clashes with Sheffield Wednesday’s blue and white home strip. As a result, Millwall were forced to borrow Sheffield Wednesday’s yellow away kit for the first half of the match.

According to Millwall, the white away kit is “on its way to the ground and the players could feature in that in the second-half.”

This isn’t the first time this sort of thing has happened. Just as one example, in the 1990’s, Chelsea had to wear Coventry’s away kit in a match.
