The 2013/14 season has only just begun, and we already have three massive matches in store for us this afternoon.

Depending on your club allegiances, the biggest match of the day could either be Fenerbahce vs Arsenal in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League play-off, the Spanish Supercopa between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona, or the Premier League match featuring Chelsea against Aston Villa. What’s your pick? Or, if you’re like many of us, you may try to watch two or three of them at once.

Chelsea have a golden opportunity to jump to the top of the Premier League table with a win tonight at Stamford Bridge. The match has been brought forward from the weekend of August 31-September 2 in order to allow Chelsea to play in the UEFA Super Cup Final on Friday, August 30 against Bayern Munich.

They’ll be facing an Aston Villa side tonight that are buzzing after their emphatic 3-1 victory against Arsenal at the weekend. Watch this video to see how Villa were unable to outwit Arsenal on the Gunners’ home pitch.

While Chelsea-Aston Villa will be battling in London, Arsenal face a much more trickier tie in Istanbul where they’re up against Fenerbahce in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League play-off match. Read our preview. Hopefully the Gunners will be wide awake for this one as the Fenerbahce supporters set off flares and firecrackers outside Arsenal’s hotel last night.

Last but not least, Barcelona faces Atletico Madrid in the Supercopa. The match pits the winners of La Liga against the winners of the Copa del Rey. Note that this is a two-legged final, so the two teams will play again next week to determine the best team in Spain.

For viewers in the United States, the matches will be shown on:

Chelsea vs Aston Villa, 2:30pm ET, NBC Sports Network

Fenerbahce vs Arsenal, 2:45pm ET, FOX Sports 1 and FOXSoccer2Go

Atletico Madrid vs Barcelona, 4pm ET, ESPN Deportes (and on ESPN2 at 5pm ET).
