Queens Park Rangers have agreed a deal with Tottenham Hotspur to sign midfielder Scott Parker according to Harry Redknapp. The England national team midfielder now has to decide whether he wants to move to QPR and, if so, to agree personal terms.

Redknapp said today:

“We agreed terms with Tottenham, so it is up to Scott now what he does and to make his mind up whether he wants to come or not.

“There was an agreement with us and Tottenham but he can go where he wants. We have made a good offer to Scott.

“We feel this is a club that wants to progress again, so we’d love him to be a part of that.”

With Tottenham’s signings this summer of midfielders Paulinho, Nacer Chadli and Etienne Capoue, Parker’s place at White Hart Lane has fallen further down the pecking order.

The 32-year-old midfielder made 30 appearances for Tottenham last season.
