Nottingham Forest Away Shirt for the 2013-14 Season [PHOTOS]

Nottingham Forest have unveiled their new away shirt for the 2013-14 season.

Forest’s gray and black away shirt with red trim is straight out of the adidas template catalog offering few surprises. What’s confusing, though, is that the away shirt looks more like a two-tone mix of gray and black (with red trim) in the above photo, but all black with red trim in the photo below.

Nevertheless, the white Forest crest on a dark background is appealing.

The only disappointment about the shirt, other than the template format, is the design of the sponsor logo. Forest couldn’t find a major sponsor in time for the new season, so they went with Fawaz International Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Company — which is a company owned by the club chairman.

thank god for WST the Forest talk will increase 100%.I agree with Alex about the sponsor om the shirt oh well lets go REDS!

  1. Would have been nicer without the sponsor. Pretty smart all in all.

As for Smokey’s snide comment about the stars, it’s no different than England using the same symbol to depict a world cup win. If they’d ever had the manager who earned Forest’s stars there’d be more than one star on the England strip.

    1. You’ll get no argument from me on Cloughie. A great manager and a real character. It would have been fun to see him transform England like he did Forest.

But the stars thing is totally different with England. The national team gets the right to compete to add another star almost every four years. In fact, that is the only reason we have a national team. Forest on the other hand are light years from competing in the champions league. Way to acknowledge the clubs heritage and all that. I just think its a bit out of place in the championship, that’s all.

      1. Forest aren’t exactly light years from the competing in the champions league, they are only one league lower than the Premier league and are one of the favorites to go up this season. If they were a few leagues lower and struggling then i would agree with you. Remember they finished 3rd in their first season in the PL after being promoted, so it could happen.
