Cardiff City have bid £8million for Tottenham Hotspur central defender Steven Caulker, according to a report tonight in The Daily Mail newspaper.
The talented English defender, who had a successful loan at Swansea City during the 2010-12 season, is a target for Cardiff. However, Tottenham value Caulker at £12million, so Cardiff will reportedly try to include some additional add-ons in the bid in order to entice Spurs to letting Caulker go.
Caulker, 21, has also been the subject of interest by Manchester City and Liverpool, according to media reports.
