Huddersfield Town — three time winners of the English top flight and one time FA Cup winner — recently unveiled their new home kit in grand style by fusing the past with the present.

The Yorkshire club, who are celebrating their 100th year of wearing their blue and white stripes, coincided the launch of their new home shirt with a campaign called #HTAFCGREATEST where they asked fans (and famous supporters) to name the greatest Huddersfield Town side from the club’s history since being founded in 1908.

When Huddersfield launched their new home kit recently, they included photographs of some of the Huddersfield greats wearing the brand-new kit from Puma (thanks to technology and probably Photoshop).

As a result, you’ll see the photos below of Huddersfield greats wearing the new kit. Plus in the above team photo at the top of this story, you’ll see many of the Huddersfield greats in a team photo including manager Herbert Chapman who went on to manage Arsenal in 1925.

And here’s a photograph of Huddersfield Town’s home shirt for next season, which looks better than a lot of designs for Premier League clubs.

Congratulations to Championship club Huddersfield Town on a well thought out campaign.
