World Soccer Talk’s Kartik Krishnaiyer caught up with Atlanta Silverbacks Captain Martyn Lancaster earlier this month to discuss the resurgence of the Silverbacks, and Lancaster’s professional career which has taken him to four different countries. Lancaster’s home town club Wigan Athletic is also discussed. Note that this was filmed hours before the appointment of Owen Coyle on June 14th.

    The only thing interesting in this interview is the admission that Wigan is a rugby town. Otherwise, I kept waiting for something interesting to be asked or said. Atlanta Silverbacks? really? World Football.. it isn’t. now is it?

      I’m sure there are Atlanta Silverbacks fans that will find the interview helpful in terms of what Wynalda did to change the team around. Not everyone is a Hammers supporter!
